A Practical Introduction to Chocolate Processing

We provide practical training on bean-to-bar chocolate making using hands-on activities and troubleshooting scenarios.

The Aggie Chocolate Factory at Utah State University will offer a week-long short course on “A Practical Introduction to Chocolate Processing.” The course will discuss the process of chocolate making from bean to the final product.  The format will include 2-3 hour lecture a day and hands-on activities at the Aggie. Chocolate Factory. The cost of the course is $2,000 per person. This includes all the materials required for the course, lunches for the duration of the course (Monday through Friday) and two dinners (Monday and Thursday). Participants are responsible for making their own travel and lodging arrangements. A block of rooms will be reserved at the University Inn with special rates for the participants.

How to Register

Cost: $2,000/person (Hotel and travel arrangements not included). Mon-Fri lunches and Mon and Thu dinners are included.

Registration deadline: March 31st 2019.  Registration between April 1st and April 30th 2019: $3,000/person.

Capacity: 10 students.  The course will not be taught with less than 8 students

Please register before March 31st 2019. Registration between April 1st and April 30th will increase to $3,000.
